Portrait of a current student: Zsofia Korosi

What can you tell us about yourself?

I'm Zsofia and I come from Hungary where I finished two bachelor programmes in international business and international relations. During my studies,I did interships in the private as well as the public sector and I have also been a volunteer for an NGO. I am passionnate about jazz and contemporary dance. Fortunately I was able to pursue my passion in Lyon, thanks to the rich cultural life of the city. I did my first 6-month internship at Sanofi Pasteur MSD in Lyon where I had the chance to work on the European launch of a pediatric vaccine.

  • Why did you choose the European Master in Management?

I chose EMLYON Business School because of the European Master in Management. The programme is truly unique because you are part of an inspiring, open-minded and adventurous international community. You also benefit from the strengths of renowned business schools in Europe. The change of pace in the courses teaches you to be flexible and you have the opportunity to experience all this in some of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
The biggest highlight of the programme has been the people I met in our cohort. Each classmate has their own unique background, stories and ideas for the future. This atmosphere is incredibly dynamic and inspiring. Moreover, the fact that 18 countries are represented gives an authentic base to discussions about global issues during class. Another highlight is the city of Lyon with its cultural life, huge parks, delicious restaurants and unique location close to the mountains and the sea.

  • Tell us about your experience with the Careers Services at EMLYON

The most useful tool of the Careers Services has been the iCareers website during my internship search. It is full of intership and job offers. Access to this kind of information is invaluable.
During our career workshop, we also optimized our CVs which is the very base when searching for a job. Moreover, Careers Services representatives were always available for a personal talk to discuss your CV and career ambitions. I highly appreciated that they really want to understand your personality, background and goals.

  • Your advice to future students:

No reason to hesitate, join the European Master in Management!
You have to be ready for a very intensive academic year with strict deadlines for your internship but also to an exceptionally enriching experience.
