Every year, MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing students have the unique opportunity to attend a Luxury Week once they arrive to Shanghai for the third part of the programme.
The luxury week consists of helping students discover first-hand the Asian luxury business environment and understand what the key challenges of this region are.
This year, after attending a welcome speech and getting an overview of this special week, students had the pleasure to go visit the Shanghai Museum and take part in a luxury treasure hunt where they discovered new luxury stores and had to report back on what struck them most.
Furthermore, the intake also visited world-renowned Shang Xia Maison where they learned about the finest Chinese design traditions! To increase their luxury network and in order to broaden their spectrum of the luxury industry, Programme Director Michel Phan organised a meeting between his students and Mr Fong Sit, Managing Director China of John Paul Luxury Concierge Services. Finally, the intake enjoyed a nice oenology class on the last day of this unique induction week.
This Luxury Week is the ideal environment for MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing students to get a better understanding of the Asian luxury market before starting classes, increase their professional network and discover other luxury trends and sectors!
