On Monday March 7th, MSc in International Hospitality Management students attended their annual "One Day in Paris" during which they met key players of world-renowned hospitality group AccorHotels.
During this special hospitality day, this year's cohort had the unique privilege of visiting two hotels from the international group: Pullman Paris Montparnasse and Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel.
Not only were the students able to get an inside view of the hotel business but they also met with Florence Lafosse from the Human Resources department of Pullman Paris Montparnasse and with Cherine Ben ABID, also from the HR department of the Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel.
After a busy morning and a nice lunch break over at AccorHotels' headquarters, the students met with François Singer, Guest Technology Manager, in charge of the improvement of the digital experience for both customers and hotels staff. Not only did they get a chance to ask their questions to a key player working to make sure AccorHotels responds well to current hospitality market trends but the intake also had the pleasure of meeting two program students from last year's cohort!
While Thaïs M. is currently interning as Junior Project Manager - Global Guest Experience and Satisfaction at AccorHotels, Lucile V. is doing her internship in the marketing department at the AccorHotels Academy located just outside of Paris. This One Day in Paris event was a great success as students had the unique opportunity to be fully immersed in this highly-coveted sector, build on their professional network and get a feel for what a potential internship with AccorHotels would be like! |
