EMLYON partners with East China Normal University to create Asia-Europe Business School

EMLYON Business School has partnered with East China Normal University (ECNU) to create a brand new business education hub in Shanghai.
The Asia-Europe Business School (AEBS) will be launched in 2016, and will offer a range of high quality programmes including a 4-year bachelor degree in business, an Executive MBA, Executive Masters programmes and specialised Masters in quantitative finance, business analytics, international management as well as luxury and fashion. 
EMLYON expects the school, which will be based in a 5000m2 building overlooking the ECNU campus in central Shanghai, to host 1,500 students by 2020. The joint school will leverage EMLYON’s deep existing relationships in China, including some 500 graduates, to develop a local entrepreneurial incubator and work with local businesses to develop applied research programmes. EMLYON’s ongoing partnership with IBM’s innovative educational information systems will also help to provide new approaches to programme delivery. 

 

EMLYON is a triple accredited Grande École de Management founded in 1872, with the aim of becoming a global business school able to train people and develop skills in countries with strong economic potential. ECNU or the East China Normal University in Shanghai, eastern China is one of 16 universities classified as national key universities by the Chinese government. It has 14,000 undergraduate students and 12,000 Master or PhD students and has 4,000 teachers. It recruits from the top 5% of bachelor-level students in China.
