Founded by EMLYON Business School, the Singapore Institution Action Community for Entrepreneurship, Nanyang Technological University, Hangzhou City and Zhejiang University in China, the World Entrepreneurship Forum is the first worldwide forum devoted to entrepreneurs, creators of wealth and social justice.

Gathering a community of entrepreneurs from five different continents, this organization is a “think and do tank” with the aim of “sharing the latest trends and issues about global entrepreneurship, developing ideas and recommendations and facilitating entrepreneurial initiatives on a local and global scale.”

This year’s edition of the World Entrepreneurship Forum will take place in Hangzhou, China, from October 19th to the 22nd, 2015.

Selected for their entrepreneurial achievements and commitment to society in their respective countries, the members, including business angels, social entrepreneurs, policy-makers, entrepreneurial experts and academics, will brainstorm on the topic “Global entrepreneurship: connected continents, new opportunities”. From conferences, master classes and company visits to workshops, open debates, an award ceremony rewarding 5 international figures and a gala dinner, the World Entrepreneurship Forum is a fascinating four-day event for young and experimented entrepreneurs!

For the occasion, an EMLYON Business School delegation will travel to China to attend the event including 15 students from the Global Entrepreneurship Program, a one year master program specialized in entrepreneurship and jointly run by EMLYON Business School, Zhejiang University, China, and Purdue University, USA. The students of the Global Entrepreneurship Program will have the opportunity to meet, interview and network with inspiring entrepreneurs and will have access to all conferences!
