The new cohort arrived on emlyon business school’s Lyon-Ecully campus on Monday September 26th for the opening ceremony where Hervé Gasiglia, Director of MS, MSc in and Programme I.D.E.A., gave an inspiring speech to all incoming cohorts explaining how emlyon business school will help students reach their career ambitions!

On the same day, students attended an academic presentation of the programme given by Antoine Haincourt and Corinne Berneman, members of the pedagogical team of the MSc in Sports Industry Management. During a couple of hours they gave the students a detailed overview of their future international adventure and answered all of their questions. 

After attending different presentations and taking part in team buildings activities just outside of Lyon, students of the MSc in Sports Industry Management traveled to the French Alps (Annecy) for the rest of their induction week. In Annecy, students were welcomed by Antoine Haincourt and Darin Reisman who works within the International Relations & Market Research department of official programme partner Outdoor Sports Valley. From attending different sports activities such as paddle surfing to meeting high end representatives of the sports industry such as Frederic Ducruet, CEO of Millet Mountain Group and Frederic Fages, Brand Director, the cohort got a taste of what their new adventure was going to look like!

This year, the MSc in Sports Industry Management welcomes international students coming from many different countries, backgrounds and professional horizons. The cohort is comprised of students from 11 different countries including Canada, China, Ecuador, Germany, France, India, Italy, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco and Nigeria.

Students of the MSc in Sports Industry Management have now officially started classes on emlyon business school’s Paris campus and we wish them good luck for their future endeavors!
