The faculty is responsible for delivering top quality teaching and learning. Its role is to create new knowledge, develop innovative teaching and learning resources, and disseminate knowledge through academic and professional publications and conferences. Its core purpose is to deliver excellent teaching in entrepreneurial and international management to all learners enrolled on emlyon business school courses.

The Faculty is made up of 113 full-time professors (40% of them are non-French) and organised in 4 departments: 

• Markets and Innovation
• Strategy and Organisation
• Economics, Finance & Control
• Management, Law and Human Resources

There is a good balance between senior and junior members, with a 60%-40% split between men and women. It is also a truly international faculty, with professors of many different nationalities and holding degrees from institutions across the globe. The faculty is strengthened on a regular basis, with around 10 new colleagues joining each year. This recruitment policy helps to build upon the faculty's existing expertise and adds new specialisations.
